Description

A short origin story: In Japan it is called yamabushitake, the monk’s mushroom. Folklore says mountain ascetics brewed it for clarity during long meditations. Its white fronds look like a winter waterfall on hardwood trees, a reminder that stillness can sharpen the mind.

Recommended Dose: 1–4 capsules daily (500 mg each). Some cognition studies used ≈3 g/day of powder which is ~6 capsules of 500 mg.

Warnings and Safety Considerations: Most people tolerate it well, but mild stomach upset, diarrhea or skin reactions have been reported rarely. Because of lab signals around blood glucose and platelets, use caution if you take diabetes medicine or blood thinners. Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to limited data. If you are preparing for surgery or on immunotherapy, speak to your clinician first.

Long-term benefits of use: A slow build for clarity, mood and sleep. Track your response over at least 4 to 8 weeks.
